Air Lease closes $600M notes offering

Air Lease Corp. completed a public offering of $600 million of its 2.625% unsecured senior notes due July 1, 2022.

The company intends to use the net proceeds, estimated to be roughly $592.8 million, for general corporate purposes, including the purchase of commercial aircraft and the repayment of existing indebtedness.

The annual interest rate will be payable semiannually in arrears Jan. 1 and July 1 of each year, beginning Jan. 1, 2018.
