Banco Macro buys back another 972,500 common shares

Banco Macro SA said that it reacquired 972,500 common book-entry class B shares at an average weighted price of 145.527 Argentine pesos.

The repurchase amounted to about 141.5 million pesos, according to a form 6-K filing dated Aug. 14.

In the previous week, Banco Macro said it repurchased 949,824 class B common shares, in accordance with a repurchase program to acquire up to 5% of its total capital stock, in which the maximum funding amount for the program is up to 5.00 billion pesos.

As of Aug. 13, US$1 was equivalent to 29.94 Argentine pesos.
