Century Aluminum Co. Non-Executive Chairman Terence Wilkinson died at the age of 72, the company said Oct. 8.

Wilkinson joined the board as chairman in 2011.

The company's directors elected former MMG Ltd. Executive Director and CEO Andrew Michelmore as Wilkinson's replacement.
