Swire Properties in talks for possible sale of 2 Hong Kong office buildings

Swire Properties Ltd. said it was in discussions with unidentified parties for the potential sale of its Cityplaza Three and Cityplaza Four buildings in Taikoo Shing, Hong Kong.

In a filing, the Swire Pacific Ltd. subsidiary said the virtually identical 21-floor properties connected to the Tai Koo MTR station could be sold separately or collectively. It also noted there was no assurance that a transaction will take place.

Cityplaza Three has a gross floor area of about 448,000 square feet and provides floor plates of roughly 18,700 to 19,300 square feet. It is leased to tenants including Sun Life Assurance, Thomson Reuters, Sony Pictures, FWD Group and the Hong Kong government, which owns 10 floors of the building.

Meanwhile, Cityplaza Four has an estimated gross floor area of 556,000 square feet and also offers floor plates spanning 23,600 to 24,300 square feet. It lists American Express, Wells Fargo Bank, Adidas and Deloitte as among its tenants.
