Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to $1.01 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of $1.03 per share.
EPS increased 10.7% year over year from 91 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $192.5 million, a gain of 8.1% from $178.1 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 11.8% from 11.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose year over year to $1.63 billion from $1.58 billion, and total operating expenses climbed year over year to $1.29 billion from $1.27 billion.
Reported net income grew 6.8% year over year to $201.1 million, or $1.05 per share, from $188.4 million, or 96 cents per share.
