SIX Group chairman to step down in 2020

Romeo Lacher will step down as chairman of the board of directors of SIX Group AG at the Swiss stock exchange operator's annual general meeting in 2020 at the latest.

Lacher is in line to become the new chairman of Swiss banking group Julius Bär Gruppe AG in April. Until his departure, Lacher will continue to assist in the Swiss bourse's transformation, which is at an advanced stage.

A replacement for Lacher, who has been SIX Group's chairman since 2017, will commence shortly, according to the Zurich company.
