Jamnica Q2 profit climbs 24.5% YOY

Jamnica d.d. said its normalized net income for the second quarter came to 75.1 million kuna, a rise of 24.5% from 60.3 million kuna in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin increased to 10.5% from 8.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew year over year to 771.3 million kuna from 755.9 million kuna, and total operating expenses totaled 661.8 million kuna, compared with 662.1 million kuna in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income totaled 110.3 million kuna, compared with 85.1 million kuna in the prior-year period.

As of July 29, US$1 was equivalent to 6.69 kuna.
