Lucapa recovers 126-carat diamond from Mothae

Lucapa Diamond Co. Ltd. recovered a 126-carat, gem-quality diamond from its Mothae kimberlite mine in Lesotho.

The company said May 23 that it is the largest gem-quality diamond recovered from the mine to date.

In February, Lucapa fetched US$3.8 million from the first sale of diamonds from the 1.1-million-tonne-per-annum Mothae kimberlite plant.
