Ennakl Automobiles H1 profit climbs 21.1% YOY

Ennakl Automobiles SA said its first-half normalized net income was 19.5 million Tunisian dinars, an increase of 21.1% from 16.1 million dinars in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue rose 36.3% on an annual basis to 226.3 million dinars from 166.0 million dinars, and total operating expenses rose 39.3% year over year to 198.7 million dinars from 142.7 million dinars.

Reported net income rose 24.3% from the prior-year period to 24.8 million dinars, or 826 millimes per share, from 19.9 million dinars.

As of Sept. 1, US$1 was equivalent to 2.21 Tunisian dinars.
