Via Holdings Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to ¥2.97 per share, a gain of 89.2% from ¥1.57 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥73.1 million, a gain of 91.8% from ¥38.1 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 1.1% from 0.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose on an annual basis to ¥6.47 billion from ¥6.26 billion, and total operating expenses increased on an annual basis to ¥6.30 billion from ¥6.14 billion.
Reported net income totaled ¥49.0 million, or ¥1.99 per share, compared to a loss of ¥94.0 million, or a loss of ¥3.86 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
