Hohsui Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥11.57 per share, a decrease of 7.4% from ¥12.49 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥96.9 million, a decrease of 7.4% from ¥104.6 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 0.5% from 0.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 38.0% year over year to ¥19.38 billion from ¥14.04 billion, and total operating expenses increased 38.3% year over year to ¥19.19 billion from ¥13.88 billion.
Reported net income rose 17.0% year over year to ¥110.0 million, or ¥13.14 per share, from ¥94.0 million, or ¥11.22 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
