New president/CEO takes the reins at Prudential Bancorp, unit

Dennis Pollack was named president and CEO of Philadelphia-basedPrudential Bancorp Inc.and unit Prudential Savings Bank.

According to a May 3 news release, Pollack takes over the rolesfrom Joseph Corrato, who has retired and will become a director emeritus. Corratojoined Prudential Savings Bank in 1978.

Pollack is currently a director at the company and the bank,and also separately at Willimantic, Conn.-based Savings Institute Bank and Trust Co.
