Amazon.com Inc. said Oct. 10 that it plans to build its first fulfillment center in Idaho.
The proposed 650,000-square-foot facility will be located in Nampa. It is expected to generate 1,000 full-time jobs with a minimum wage of $15 per hour.
The fulfillment center will handle orders such as books, electronics and toys. Amazon expects the facility to open in 2020.
