Scripps, NBC renew affiliation agreement

E.W. Scripps Co. entered into a multiyear deal to renew station affiliation agreements with NBC (US).

The agreement includes WGBA in Green Bay, Wis.; WTMJ in Milwaukee; KJRH in Tulsa, Okla.; WPTV in West Palm Beach, Fla.; and KSHB in Kansas City, Mo.

Financial terms of the renewal were not disclosed.

Scripps recently closed its acquisition of three ABC (US) affiliated television stations in a $55 million transaction following Gray Television Inc.'s $3.65 billion acquisition of Raycom Media Inc.
