New York financial services regulator Vullo to step down in 2019

New York State Department of Financial Services Superintendent Maria Vullo will step down from her role Feb. 1, 2019.

Vullo was confirmed by the New York State Senate in June 2016.

Vullo announced her decision to step down in a statement issued by the state regulator.

During her tenure, the state was the first to set up cybersecurity regulations for financial services companies and insurers.
