Token fiscal Q3 profit climbs YOY

Token Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Jan. 31 amounted to ¥128.45 per share, an increase from ¥122.81 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.73 billion, an increase from ¥1.65 billion in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 2.6% from 2.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to ¥65.97 billion from ¥63.38 billion, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to ¥63.48 billion from ¥60.87 billion.

Reported net income increased 10.8% from the prior-year period to ¥1.70 billion, or ¥126.05 per share, from ¥1.53 billion, or ¥113.66 per share.

As of March 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥121.18.
