Report: Host Hotels to sell NYC hotel for $168M

Lodging real estate investment trust Host Hotels & Resorts Inc. is expected to sign a hard contract for the sale of the 270-room W-New York Union Square at 201 Park Ave. S. in New York City for $168 million in the next week or two, The Real Deal reported, citing unnamed sources.

The sources identified Westbrook Partners LLC as the prospective buyer of the 20-story hotel, while Highgate Hotels Inc. is in discussions to serve as the property manager, the report added.

Host Hotels, Westbrook and Highgate could not be reached for a comment, the publication added.
