Ameren Corp.on Oct. 12 announced that its board of directors increased the company's quarterly common stock dividend by 3.8% to 47.50 cents per share from 45.75 cents per share.

On an annualized basis, the dividend is now $1.90 per share, compared to the prior rate of $1.83 per share. The new dividend is payable Dec. 31 to shareholders of record Dec. 12.
