2 Minneapolis properties sell for almost $170M

Opus Group sold Xcel Energy Inc.'s headquarters building at 401 Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis to an affiliate of Sentinel Real Estate Corp. for more than $108 million, The Star Tribune reported, citing an electronic certificate of real estate value.

The almost 212,000-square-foot, nine-story office property was developed by Opus in 2016. The transaction is among the highest-priced office property sales in the city in 2019, according to the report.

Separately, Spear Street Capital sold the 13-story 510 Marquette building in downtown Minneapolis to IPERS 510 Marquette Inc. for $61 million.

Sentinel did not respond to a request for comment, according to the publication.
