Shinsei Bank makes executive management changes

Shinsei Bank Ltd. made several executive assignment changes in the group.

Masayuki Nankouin retired as chief officer of group corporate planning and finance. He will be appointed as senior managing executive officer of banking unit APLUS FINANCIAL Co. Ltd.

Takashi Yoshikawa retired as the bank's senior officer for group business strategy. Eiji Shibazaki retired as executive officer in charge of institutional business. Shibazaki will be appointed as managing executive officer for Showa Leasing Co. Ltd.

Satoshi Suzuki retired as the bank's executive officer in charge of banking infrastructure and general manager for the information systems risk management division.

The new appointments take effect April 1.

Yuji Matsuura was appointed representative director and president of Shinsei Securities Co. Ltd., effective April 9. Matsuura was formerly executive officer in charge of institutional business at Shinsei Bank.
