Facebook Inc. informed Acxiom Corp. that Facebook Partner Categories, which provides audience targeting options by leveraging third-party data providers, including Acxiom's audience solutions division, will be discontinued over the next several months.
Acxiom does not expect this change to impact its fiscal 2018 guidance but it updated its preliminary fiscal 2019 guidance; it expects total 2019 revenue and profitability to be negatively impacted by as much as $25 million.
Acxiom declined 8.42% March 28 to close at $28.05.
