Delta Djakarta Q1 profit falls YOY

PT Delta Djakarta Tbk said its normalized net income for the first quarter amounted to 32.56 rupiah per share, a decrease of 59.4% from 80.23 rupiah per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 26.07 billion rupiah, a decrease of 59.4% from 64.24 billion rupiah in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 14.5% from 27.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 40.5% on an annual basis to 141.05 billion rupiah from 236.94 billion rupiah, and total operating expenses decreased 24.7% on an annual basis to 105.22 billion rupiah from 139.77 billion rupiah.

Reported net income declined 58.4% year over year to 33.03 billion rupiah, or 41.25 rupiah per share, from 79.32 billion rupiah, or 99.06 rupiah per share.

As of May 4, US$1 was equivalent to 13,015 rupiah.
