Simonds Farsons Cisk fiscal-year profit climbs 25.3% YOY

Simonds Farsons Cisk PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal full year ended Jan. 31 came to 18 euro cents per share, a gain of 25.3% from 14 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €5.4 million, a gain of 25.3% from €4.3 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 6.8% from 5.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose year over year to €79.2 million from €78.3 million, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to €69.1 million from €69.9 million.

Reported net income grew from the prior-year period to €13.5 million, or 45 cents per share, from €6.5 million, or 22 cents per share.
