Rosneft appoints board member, raises 2018 dividend

Russian integrated oil and gas giant Rosneft Oil Co. PJSC announced June 4 that Hamad Rashid Al-Mohannadi was elected to its board of directors.

Al-Mohannadi is a member of Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Foundation for Energy & Sustainable Development's trustees board and is chairman of Qatar Community College.

In addition, the company declared a total dividend of 25.91 Russian rubles per share for 2018, up from the 10.48 rubles per share reported for 2017.

The dividend is broken into a first-half dividend of 14.58 rubles per share and an 11.33-ruble-per-share dividend approved during its annual general meeting of shareholders.

As of June 3, US$1 was equivalent to 65.39 Russian rubles.
