New Jersey Community Bank shareholders OK deal with 1st Constitution Bank

Shareholders of New Jersey Community Bank on March 22 voted in favor of the pending merger of New Jersey Community Bank into 1st Constitution Bank, a unit of 1st Constitution Bancorp

1st Constitution Bancorp shareholders are not voting on the merger, according to a press release. The closing of the deal remains subject to a number of conditions mentioned in the merger agreement. The merger is expected to close in April.
