S&P assigns ratings to Credit Suisse Swiss unit

S&P Global Ratings on May 25 assigned Credit Suisse (Schweiz) AG A/A-1 long- and short-term issuer credit ratings, with a stable outlook.

S&P said that in doing so it is aligning Credit Suisse (Schweiz)'s ratings with the A/A-1 ratings of parent Credit Suisse Group AG and its other core operating bank subsidiaries.

The stable outlook on Credit Suisse (Schweiz) is a reflection of Credit Suisse and its other core operating bank entities, in addition to S&P's view that the group is able and willing to provide full support to Credit Suisse (Schweiz) if needed.
