The EU could again extend the March 13 deadline of a review on the proposed merger between Deutsche Börse AG and London Stock Exchange Group Plc by another five to 10 days, "people familiar with the discussions" told Bloomberg News.

The delay is expected to give regulators more time to market-test remedies offered by the companies to address competition concerns, according to the Jan. 31 report. The review initially had a Feb. 13 deadline that was already extended a few times.
