Baird nabs advisers from Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley

Two adviser teams managing a combined $780 million in client assets at Wells Fargo Clearing Services LLC have left to join Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc., the (New York) InvestmentNews reported May 23.

The team comprised of Karla Olson-Bellfi, Thai-Vi Pham and Omer Bellfi managed $475 million at the Wells Fargo & Co. subsidiary. The team consisting of John Mathey and Frank Mirabella III managed $305 million at Wells Fargo Clearing Services, according to the report.

The advisers, who joined Baird's office in Ann Arbor, Mich., in May., worked at the Wells Fargo unit since 2008, according to FINRA's BrokerCheck website.

Baird also hired another adviser team based in its Edina, Minn., office. Robert McCrea Jr., Kevin Rollwagen and Cassidy Burns collectively managed $98 million in client assets, according to InvestmentNews.

McCrea and Rollwagen were registered with Morgan Stanley in Wayzata, Minn, from 2009 until they joined Baird in May, based on FINRA's BrokerCheck website. Burns, meanwhile, worked at IMST Distributors LLC in Minneapolis from January 2014 until she registered with Baird in April.
