ONLY Corp. fiscal Q2 profit falls YOY

ONLY Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Feb. 28 amounted to ¥10.24 per share, a decrease of 23.3% from ¥13.35 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥49.4 million, a decline of 23.3% from ¥64.4 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 3.1% from 3.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell year over year to ¥1.61 billion from ¥1.68 billion, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to ¥1.57 billion from ¥1.58 billion.

Reported net income declined 30.9% from the prior-year period to ¥38.0 million, or ¥7.88 per share, from ¥55.0 million, or ¥11.41 per share.
