EnBW completes 112-MW offshore wind farm in Germany

EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG on Sept. 20 completed installation of the last turbine at the 112-MW Albatros offshore wind farm in Germany.

EnBW recently completed construction of the 497-MW Hohe See wind project in the North Sea, according to a Sept. 23 release. Both wind facilities, which are part of Germany's Energiewende, or energy transition, have a combined installed capacity of about of 609 MW.

The wind farms are scheduled to come online by the end of 2019.
