BCPL International Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 came to 40,630 rupees, an increase of 25.0% from 32,500 rupees in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 1.5% from 7.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew year over year to 2.6 million rupees from 446,000 rupees, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to 2.6 million rupees from 454,000 rupees.
Reported net income rose 80.6% from the prior-year period to 65,000 rupees, or 0 paise per share, from 36,000 rupees, or 0 paise per share.
