DIF Management drums up €1.9B for 5th infrastructure fund

DIF Management BV's unlisted infrastructure fund closed at its revised upward hard cap of €1.9 billion, after receiving strong demand from institutional investors.

Investors in the DIF Infrastructure V fund include top-tier pension funds, insurers and fund-of-funds. The fund had a €1.5 billion initial target and an original hard cap of €1.75 billion.

Similar to its predecessors, the fund primarily invests in long-term, core, low-risk infrastructure projects, including public-private partnerships/concessions, regulated assets and long-term contracted renewable energy assets across North America, Europe and Australasia.

Stifel Financial Corp. unit Eaton Partners was the exclusive placement agent for the fund.
