Amundi seeks to double index fund assets to €200B by 2023

Amundi SA unveiled plans to double its exchange-traded funds, indexing and smart beta AUM to €200 billion by 2023.

The French asset manager said it will aim to boost its client coverage in Europe and Asia, enhance its product offering and investment solutions and bolster its retail market presence to achieve its AUM target.

Amundi also announced a new range of ETFs dubbed Amundi Prime ETF, that charge a flat rate of 0.05%. Nine of the funds will be launched initially, allowing investors access to fixed income and equity market indices across a range of geographic regions including the U.S. and Europe, Amundi said in a March 13 statement.
