Ardian Real Estate raised over €700 million for its debut Real Estate European fund.
The private investment company plans to spend between €50 and €150 million on commercial property assets in the core-plus/value-added segment, with a focus on Germany, France and Italy, according to a release. Commitments came from around 50 investors from 11 different countries.
Recent investments through the fund include the Heinemann Bogen office complex in Munich purchased from a fund managed by Swiss Life Asset Managers-owned Corpus SIREO Real Estate Sireo; the Europa building in the northwestern suburbs of Paris bought in partnership with LaSalle Investment Management from the Lagardere media group; six office buildings in Milan, Rome and Bari, Italy, acquired from the Cloe real estate fund; and the Wappenhalle (Konrad) office premises and business park complex in Munich purchased from real estate asset manager publity AG.
