4981254 said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 amounted to a loss of 76 Japanese sen per share, compared with 30 sen per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥106.3 million, compared with income of ¥41.9 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 1.9% from 0.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew year over year to ¥5.51 billion from ¥5.27 billion, and total operating expenses rose 9.6% on an annual basis to ¥5.67 billion from ¥5.17 billion.

Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥149.0 million, or a loss of ¥1.07 per share, compared to a loss of ¥115.0 million, or a loss of 83 sen per share, in the year-earlier period.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥2.48 per share, a fall of 52.7% from ¥5.24 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was ¥345.6 million, a fall of 52.7% from ¥730.0 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue increased on an annual basis to ¥23.40 billion from ¥23.01 billion, and total operating expenses increased on an annual basis to ¥22.73 billion from ¥21.69 billion.
