Corpseguros shareholders to vote on proposed absorption

Compania de Seguros Corpseguros SA shareholders will vote in March on a proposal calling for the company to be absorbed by Compania de Seguros Confuturo SA, according to a regulatory filing.

The proposal envisions Confuturo taking over all of Corpseguros' assets and liabilities.

According to S&P Global Market Intelligence data, Corpseguros is majority owned by Confuturo, which in turn is a unit of Cámara Chilena de la Construcción AG.
