Industrial production in Italy increased by 1.2% in March from the previous month after two straight monthly declines, the country's National Institute of Statistics said.
The industrial production index remained unchanged in the three months to March from the previous three months.
Industrial production rose by 3.6% in March from a year earlier after calendar adjustments, while the unadjusted index was down 1.1% from a year ago.
The calendar-adjusted industrial production index increased by 3.4% in the first three months of the year, compared with the same period of the previous year.
