NextEra Energy Partners director resigns to rejoin GE

James Suciu resigned from the board of NextEra Energy Partners LP to rejoin General Electric Co. as vice president of commercial at GE Gas Power.

The partnership's board elected Robert Byrne to replace Suciu, effective Dec. 21. Byrne was appointed chair of the audit committee and a member of the conflicts committee.

Byrne was the founder and served as president of Power Pro-Tech Services Inc., a distributed power system service provider, until it was sold in 2017 to PowerSecure Inc. He previously served as an independent director of NextEra Energy Partners' general partner from July 2014 through April 2017.
