Lifestyle Global Enterprise Q3 profit climbs 23.1% YOY

Lifestyle Global Enterprise Inc. said its third-quarter normalized net income came to NT$1.84 per share, a gain of 20.5% from NT$1.52 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$55.4 million, an increase of 23.1% from NT$45.0 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 2.9% from 2.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue came to NT$1.92 billion, compared with NT$1.94 billion in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses decreased on an annual basis to NT$1.80 billion from NT$1.86 billion.

Reported net income increased 4.9% from the prior-year period to NT$66.1 million, or NT$2.19 per share, from NT$63.0 million, or NT$2.13 per share.

As of Jan. 19, US$1 was equivalent to NT$31.59.
