Tech Air bought Scully Welding Supply Corp. and Scully Propane Service Corp. for an undisclosed sum.

Collingdale, Pa.-based Scully Welding and its affiliate provide propane, industrial and welding supplies, as well as industrial gases to customers in Greater Philadelphia. Danbury, Conn.-based Tech Air distributes industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as welding equipment and supplies, across the U.S.

The Scully acquisition is the 27th add-on for Tech Air under the ownership of North American middle-market private equity firm CI Capital Partners LLC. The acquisition is expected to bolster Tech Air's presence in the U.S. Northeast.
