Eastspring Investments names CFO, general manager of Hong Kong office

Prudential PLC's Asian investment management unit, Eastspring Investments, appointed Francis Woo CFO and Joyce Chan head of intermediaries and general manager of its Hong Kong office, The Business Times reported Jan. 8.

Woo was previously CFO of Asia for U.S.-based private equity firm TPG Capital. He will report to Eastspring Investments CEO Wai-Kwong Seck.

Meanwhile, Chan's appointment as general manager, subject to regulatory approval, will allow Ooi Boon Peng to step down as CEO of Hong Kong and focus on his role as CEO for Singapore and head of investment strategies.
