Ambra fiscal Q1 profit falls YOY

Ambra SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended Sept. 30 came to 13,880 zlotys, a decrease of 99.2% from 1.7 million zlotys in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin declined to 0.0% from 1.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue totaled 86.8 million zlotys, compared with 86.8 million zlotys in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to 82.3 million zlotys from 80.5 million zlotys.

Reported net income decreased 90.0% from the prior-year period to 252,070 zlotys, or 1 grosz per share, from 2.5 million zlotys, or 10 groszy per share.

As of Nov. 12, US$1 was equivalent to 3.93 zlotys.
