Chubb becomes shareholder in African Trade Insurance Agency

Chubb Ltd. made a $10 million equity investment in the African Trade Insurance Agency.

Chubb is the first global property and casualty insurance company to become a shareholder in the Nairobi, Kenya-based company.

The African Trade Insurance Agency provides risk solutions and credit insurance products. Its other shareholders include 16 African countries and 10 institutional members.
