Ambassador Hotel Ltd. said its fourth-quarter normalized net income came to 15 Taiwan cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 19 cents per share.
EPS increased year over year from 15 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$55.6 million, an increase from NT$54.7 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 5.7% from 6.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 7.9% year over year to NT$970.0 million from NT$899.0 million, and total operating expenses grew 9.5% on an annual basis to NT$888.5 million from NT$811.6 million.
Reported net income increased on an annual basis to NT$68.8 million, or 19 cents per share, from NT$66.4 million, or 18 cents per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 86 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of NT$1.14.
EPS rose from 85 cents in the prior year.
Normalized net income was NT$316.6 million, a gain from NT$312.0 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue grew from the prior-year period to NT$3.64 billion from NT$3.48 billion, and total operating expenses grew 6.2% year over year to NT$3.26 billion from NT$3.07 billion.
The company said reported net income grew year over year to NT$415.9 million, or NT$1.13 per share, in the full year, from NT$408.4 million, or NT$1.11 per share.
