InvestIndustrial adds Spanish fertility clinic to portfolio

London-based midmarket private equity firm InvestIndustrial, through Universal Clinics SLU, is acquiring Ginefiv SL from its founding partners for an undisclosed sum.

Madrid-based Ginefiv is a fertility clinic and a pioneer in in-vitro fertilization in Spain. Founders José Bajo Arenas and Alberto Martínez de Arenaza will remain involved in the company's management and growth.

The deal is expected to close in the first quarter, pending antitrust approvals.

InvestIndustrial received due diligence advice from Medinamis. LEK Consulting, Willis Towers Watson, Eurohold and Uría Menéndez provided commercial, insurance, financial and legal advice, respectively. KPMG provided accounting, tax and financial advice, and Golder Associates advised on environmental, social and corporate governance topics.
