But'one Information Q3 profit falls YOY

But'one Information Corp. Xi'an said its third-quarter normalized net income was 2 fen per share, a decrease of 68.9% from 5 fen per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 964,460 yuan, a decrease of 68.7% from 3.1 million yuan in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 1.9% from 8.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 28.1% on an annual basis to 44.9 million yuan from 35.1 million yuan, and total operating expenses climbed 26.7% year over year to 39.4 million yuan from 31.1 million yuan.

Reported net income decreased 69.0% year over year to 1.8 million yuan, or 3 fen per share, from 5.8 million yuan, or 9 fen per share.

As of Oct. 28, US$1 was equivalent to 6.78 yuan.
