Lealea Enterprise Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the first quarter amounted to 8 Taiwan cents per share, a gain of 25.9% from 7 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$80.1 million, a gain of 26.1% from NT$63.6 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 2.9% from 2.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue totaled NT$2.76 billion, compared with NT$2.74 billion in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses decreased on an annual basis to NT$2.60 billion from NT$2.71 billion.
Reported net income came to NT$95.0 million, or 10 cents per share, compared to NT$94.9 million, or 10 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
As of May 13, US$1 was equivalent to NT$30.62.
