ComScore, PlaceIQ unveil service to link TV, digital campaigns to moviegoers

ComScore Inc. teamed up with PlaceIQ Inc. to develop and integrate a new service offering called Movie Lift to its existing suite of Marketing Impact services.

Movie Lift combines ComScore's movies, TV and digital data footprint with PlaceIQ's theater location intelligence to help users identify key metrics in driving audiences to the movies, according to an Aug. 20 news release.

ComScore said the addition of Movie Lift to Marketing Impact will help marketers and media companies attribute the impact of advertising on various indicators, including branding lifts and purchasing behaviors.
