Axpo Polska Sp.z.o.o has expanded its position in the Polish market with an agreement to manage the physical power generated by a 42-MW wind farm for at least a 10-year period.
The route-to-market power purchase agreement with Green Investment Group Ltd., which owns the Kisielice wind farm, also includes price hedging of a portion of the Polish green certificates generated by the project, according to an Oct. 22 news release.
Lighting company Signify NV will use the wind farm's electricity to power its operations in Poland.
Axpo Polska is a subsidiary of Swiss utility Axpo Holding AG.
