Willis Towers Watson PLC appointed Elke Vagenende as head of the Western Europe region for FINEX, a division that focuses on financial, executive and professional risks.

Previously, Vagenende was head of market management for the U.K. at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE.

Willis Towers Watson also named Jeffery Hay and Kathryn Walker senior directors of consulting services within its insurance consulting and technology, Americas property and casualty practice.

Hay previously served as head of product management for personal lines at The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. Walker joins Willis Towers Watson from Pinnacle Actuarial Resources Inc., where she most recently served as consulting actuary for predictive analytics.

Additionally, Willis Towers Watson appointed Kelly Kinzer head of construction broking in its corporate risk and broking segment.

Kinzer most recently served as construction specialties broking leader for the global advisory, broking and solutions company.


Hanover Insurance Group Inc. named Kevin Leach head of its financial institutions portfolio.

Previously, Leach served as national product leader and deputy regional head for financial institutions at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty.


John Donald, managing director, assumed the role of chairman of Charles Taylor Adjusting Ltd's natural resources' loss adjusting business, and Chris Brown and Mike McMahon both took on the role of managing director for the U.K., Europe and Singapore.

Brown and McMahon most recently served as deputy managing directors of natural resources.


Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty appointed Lee Brewer senior broker relationship manager and Harriet Tiplady broker relationship manager.

Brewer previously served as a broker relationship manager for American International Group Inc. in London. Tiplady joined Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty in 2017 as a senior sales analyst.


Erie Insurance Group named Sean Dugan vice president and corporate human resources officer.

Dugan has served as vice president of talent acquisition and community outreach since 2014.


Texas All Risk General Agency Inc. and Select General Agency LLC promoted Binh Nguyen to personal lines manager, the Insurance Journal reported.

In this role, he will oversee underwriting and customer service for Texas All Risk homeowner's programs and Select General Agency's private passenger auto program, according to the report.
